The Chicken or the Egg Dilemma!

So I feel nauseated (little appetite), weak, tired, flu-like,body aches, and ick! I worry that I have an illness causing me to feel sick and therefore anxious. OR can anxiety really make you feel like you have the flu all of the time??? I get up feeling like I can't make it to the shower. So shaky and sick and weak. I have to take Dramamine or Benadryl to make it out the door (with a side of Pepto). Anybody else feel sick?

  • Could be that you're sick, but thinking about it is raising your anxiety level to where it's making it worse. I know being sick sucks but try reading or going in to something you like, meaning, relaxing, reading, stuff like that. Try getting lost in something, I know easier said then done When sick but hopefully you feel better.

  • I feel nauseous. Stomach is upset and it really affects my appetite. I just want it to stop. I'm on a low dose of sertraline 50mg nearly a week now so hasn't taken affect. I've been told I'm fine by my doctor and several practitioners but I find it hard to believe them. I wish my mind wasn't out of control. I feel like I'm going to go crazy.
