Please help!
It can yes. I am actually dealing with constipation from time to time because of it. Everyone is different when it comes to that. Depends on how your body deals with it. If you are still worried I would tell your doctor you would like to see a specialist because your concerned. Hope it gets better!
Thank you guys for your help
Hi Matt
Yes, anxiety can cause Diarrhoea. The doctor should have examined your abdomen and also asked you for a sample of it to send off to the laboratory to exclude infection etc before deciding it was anxiety. It could also be irritable bowel syndrome. This is a common condition which can cause symptoms similar to yours. Do you have pain or cramps?
Thank you for your help I will talk to my doctor about that. Sometimes I just feel I might have something worse like cancer but people said that they would have found that already
The fear you have that you might have cancer will make the Diarrhoea worse. Years ago I had similar symptoms and I was very worried that it might be cancer. I went to the doctor and he referred me to a specialist. They used a camera to examine my bowel. They found everything was normal. My symptoms improved after that because I was not anxious any more.
That's what they plan on doing with me. But if I had cancer that would had found that on my blood work right?
Yes, if they specifically tested your blood for this. The colonoscopy (camera ) will diagnose any problems. In most cases no abnormalities can be found.
Thank you! This brings me more comfort. So do you got brought all these things as well like dizziness and weakness and stufff? How do you deal with it?
Are you drinking enough water? If you have diarrhoea as bad as you say you could be dehydrated. You need to replace the water and other elements that are lost. You can buy medicine in the pharmacy to replace these. Also you still need to eat to give you energy.
I had blood work for many things like to check my white and r d count and also to check my organs and stuff, but not specif for cancer but I was told that they could see if I had something thru that. But about the water I do drink a lots of water.
Sounds like they have ruled out a few causes already. They will have checked for anaemia, kidney function, liver function and others. Water on its own might not be enough you will need to replace other elementsthat will be lost. I don't know where you live but in the U.K. There is a medicinecalled dioralyteand as I said you must eat preferably foods which are not too high in fibre
As soon as my anxiety starts i am on the loo. It can also make me want to vomit.
Hi Misht
I am affected in the same way. My gut goes into overdrive ... I have cramps too 😁
I get the pains in my side then i think its my appendix which then panics me again and sends me back to the loo. Lol
Your gut is affected my your nervous system. I am used to it now but it not a problem you can ignore! 😳
You could be dehydrated. That makes you feel dizzy and weak . Sometimes makes your stools messed up . And anxiety can do a lot of things to your body . Attached to stress to. Nervesness can make you go to the bathroom a lot as well . Hope you figure it out it does not sound fun.
Take care
