I can imagine how you feel.what kind of stomach issues have you experience? I feel I'm having stomach problems and problems when it's time to go.

That's the same with me. I keep getting constipated and I get pressure and pains in my stomach and sometimes it even goes to my ribs.. I think that might be from straining so hard at times. But I even have a hard time passing gas.. So something isn't working right in here but I guess ill see how this goes. I have a procedure Thursday. They are going down my throat with a scope (can't even think of what its called). Ugh I'm sitting here all nervous and my mind is going wild

That's what Ive been wanting to get done as well because I feel my stomach is off track. But i cant get my damn gp to refer me or help me get this done. They are pissing me off. Im either constipated or almost diarrhea. Then my stomach makes all sorts of wierd sounds and noises. It sounds like fluids are filtering like it's loud. Just sounds generally like it's upset and trying to talk to me.

I have those exact symptoms, my gp says its ibs, many people who have anxiety issues also develop tummy symptoms too, your tummy is greatly affected by nerves/anxiety etc, my bowels fluctuate between constipation or loose quite alot of the time, my tummy is also very noisy, gurgling etc, drinking plenty of water is an absolute must for constipation, it really does help x

Ok I hope that all it is. I get so worried. Because like I'm paying more attention to my bowels and how I go. And it's like last week I was going almost every day. I don't know if it was because my food intake was more so fruits and not a lot of solids and then the last four days I has been eating more or better as far as solid food but I didn't increase my water intake. But it's like I am expecting to go everyday cuz I was last week. But I noticed I haven't gone at all yesterday and when I had a bm two days ago it was constipated and not much came out. And like I feel the urge but when I go it won't come as easily. Its like a switch from easy to hard. And yes those are the sounds my stomach makes.

Yes I experience the same symptoms, I can have so many days where I'm pretty regular, then suddenly I'm constipated, but as I say this is so very common amongst anxiety sufferers, our stomachs are sensitive, it affects bowels and bladder functions, thats why many sufferers often feel the need to urinate frequently, especially during anxiety/panic attacks, they also suffer from acid reflux, again all related, anxiety/panic/reflux/ibs/bowels/bladder etc, you'll find many people suffer with the same symptoms, we're sensitized and our tummies don't like it xxx

Well I appreciate your reassuring me of this. Even though I've heard of the term ibs but I've yet to know for sure if I'm going through that or not. It's like I'd feel better or deal with it better if I was told from a doc this is what I have. But what you have explained makes sense which gives me a bit of ease. So can ibs go away or is it pretty much something most anxiety sufferers will deal with as long as we are dealing with anxiety or stress?

Ibs can affect.people who don't have anxiety too, but as anxiety does often bring with it tummy problems ibs seems to be quite common amongst sufferers of anxiety, I would discuss it with your gp of course, and yes you would no doubt feel much better.with a proper diagnosis, but.all I'm saying is that your description of symptoms sound very similar if not identical to those of an anxious tummy or ibs, bowels are affected greatly in so many fellow sufferers, but yes, get an appointment and see what your gp says, let me know how you get on, keep hydrated, my gp often reminds me about drinking plenty to.ease constipation episodes :-)

Yes I will definitely increase my water intake which I have been told by many will help and u hope it does. And like always I hope I'm just overreacting and it'll be fine once I drink more water and calm down. Thank you again and I will keep you informed if I can ever get this appointment and talk with my gp again

Yes, I often think getting an appointment with the pope would be easier than trying to get one with my gp! Hahaha, :-)
