What's the safest anxiety pill to take?

Because I see a lot of side effects

Hi Matt1122, there really isn't one that's the safest. A Benzo is a Benzo. They are all addicting or habit forming the longer you take them. BUT... that still doesn't mean that we all at one time or another, need a little help in breaking that circle of anxiety. Medication as well as therapy can be very beneficial in helping get people on the right track. When prescribed by a doctor who watches your progress, there should be no harm done. As for the side effects of each medication, there is no guarantee what one person may experience and not another. Buspar has been said to be a safer drug because of it being in a different category than the benzos. The problem being it doesn't work as well for everyone.

I would suggest not looking at what the side effects are on Google or with the leaflet that comes with the meds. Take the drug with an open mind. We are the last people who should read the side effects prompting our anxiety to give us many of those listed.

I take mirtazapine the only side effect it has is it put you to sleep so always best to take before bed but it really helps me and I'm a bad anxiety sufferer also I've been looking for things to stop my anxiety hypnotherapy and counselling tablets everything but I came across this thing called the linden method I really recommend it for once it's something I can relate to everything they say is spot on

I ask because the one the doctor prescribed has sisures side effects and it scares me since my mother gets those

If I where you I would research vitamins for anxiety, and exercise, no harsh side affects, only good side affects.
