It has been 3 weeks since I stopped taking SSRI pills, it wasn't easy but I did it!
I occasionally get anxiety, but I learned how to deal with it and also meditation, praying and exercise are great help!

Continued success
Thank you very much! life is great!!!!
Im looking to stop. why did you choose to stop? how long were you on the SSRI and how did you slowly cut back? asking my doctor tomorrow about cutting down and getting off the med so im very interested.
I did not need to be on pills anymore. I had a horrible experience with benzos in 2017 and it took me a while to get off, so with the help of my Doctor I tapered off and started using SSRI and I did it for about 33 months. At the beginning of this year I told her that I didn't want to be on medication anymore and she suggested we did a taper down on the SSRIS. It is a process, but you need to find alternatives, like meditating, exercising, etc..the goal is to learn what makes you happy and what makes you feel better. My anxiety still exists, but I learned how to control it and not let it take over my mind. You can do it, it will take some time, but that time will come. Good luck!
which is why im in therapy and i do exercise alot and maintain a healthy diet. i can beat and control my anxiety i feel. im motivated to do so
I am confident that you can do it, is all up to you.
