Hello guys, I have just joined this message board because I was advised by one of my closest friends. Before I begin I would like to mention that I think I suffer from health anxiety, I haven't been diagnosed but everytime I am poorly I over think the symptoms and Google absolutely everything until I feel I have the right diagnosis. (Sounds silly I know)

So for the past 4 or 5 days I have felt very spaced out, like I am not in my own body and very dizzy with a pressure kind of feeling on the right side of my head.... I don't feel myself. It is constant, it doesn't go away. Now I didn't have a period for 3 months or so and I did come on 4 days ago (very heavy) I don't know if my symptoms could be related to that or not - because I've never had this before with a period. I don't know if it's anxiety that's making me feel this way - or is it something serious???? I keep myself up all night googling symptoms and worrying and working myself up. I can't really describe my symptoms very well because I've never felt this way before. I have been to the doctors 3 times and they did the normal dizzy tests on me and said everything looks absolutely normal. I haven't had any blood tests or anything like that yet. I'm waiting until I'm off my period to book another doctors appointment just incase my symptoms are period related. I feel like I constantly have to lean my head on a pillow and sit fowards just so I don't feel the pressure in my head. I don't understand how this could be anxiety?? Can anxiety make you feel physically poorly? I need someone's help, someone who has the same symptoms.. I'm a 20 year old female. I don't drink alcohol or tend to take over the counter medications. (For personal reasons) I do smoke cannabis everyday though. It helps me relax and helps me sleep at night time. Could cannabis be doing this to me?? Should I stop??

I would really appreciate anyone who could help and talk to me about this. Anyone. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Hi there. My name is Sarah and I have the same problems and trust me I know what you are going through. I have pains everywhere and I am always looking up on google what they can mean and everything I have looked up always goes back to anxiety. My doc said I have had this condition since 2014 after my first tooth extraction. I was scared to be put under because I have never been put under. However, I made it through the surgery on my wisdom teeth, but my anxiety just came from no where. I always have pains that the doctor can't explain and I was told if there is something my doc don't understand with all the tests ran, it could be from my anxiety. Getting sleep really helps relax and not freak out as much. Exercise sure helps as well. I don't get meds cause I read on the warnings that may cause death and I am always having panic attacks fearing that I am not going to wake up if I go to sleep. I don't think pot makes things worse. If anything, I am sure it could relax you more. If there is anything I can help you with let me know. I will reply and be part of your support group.... I hope this gives you a positive outlook on life.

Hello,

Thank you so much for your reply... I went to the docs today and got diasnosed with labyrinthitis. I know it's an ear infection but part of me is thinking I've been wrongly diagnosed?? He didn't even check my ear!! I mean ear infection? Surely symptoms like head pressure, tension headache and lightheadedness can't be down to a bloody ear infection?? I was given prochlorperazine and I've took two so far. I'm supposed to take three a day. I do feel slightly better today though maybe that's because I've came off my period. I have no idea. I'm sat here going crazy\out of my mind. I have quit pot cold turkey haven't smoked it for three days now.. Maybe I'm having withdrawal symptoms? I've always have trouble sleeping but yesterday I didn't sleep till 6am. I'm terrified the same will happen tonight. I do have melatonin (circadin) 2mg. I could take but I'm scared to take two different medications at once.. Will I be safe to? My anxiety levels are hitting the roof. I feel like I'm the only person that is going through this. I must of cried about 2000000 times today! Thank you for taking your time to reply to me. It's much my appreciated believe me.. Not many people understand what I go through, I'm just laughed at..

Well I will tell you right now that I am not the type to laugh at anyone. I am here to help and if something I say can help someone, then that is my goal.... I want others to know that there are people that care about others and it doesn't matter who and where you are... I am glad I helped, and vertigo can make you feel this way too cause I feel this way always. There is medication over the counter called Dramamine and it helps keep you from being dizzy. It is like three or four dollars at the dollar store or Walmart. I wish this helps you, and know that you are not the only one going through this....
