I'm a 24 y/o make, pretty fit/healthy before this recent trouble in the past few weeks. I recently found that my left ventricle is pumping 52% and not been told what I should do next and there has been an inconsistency of what doctors have told me about it, I found this out via a heart echo. I've had tonnes of ECG's in the past 2 weeks all have come back fine. Been to A&E twice, once for numbness/lack of feeling as well as a racing heart/irregular, extreme fatigue and loss of balance. And the second time yesterday, where I was told bluntly. I do not have a heart condition, however I am still not convinced.
Partnering these symptoms I've been having the most horrible, feeling for the past 3 nights (only when I lie down) where my left arm goes completely weak as well as across my shoulder and chest/right arm with a very fast heart rate, it feels like I cannot breath properly and wake up feeling like its sleep paralysis but with more of a whoosh kind of feeling. I've noticed that these episodes are accompanied by BAD dreams which makes me think it is anxiety related but am not sure.
Feel like I'm losing my mind, just wanted to know if anyone else has had anything similar to this happen recently. I'm trying not to be so obsessed about my heart but tbh, it's really affecting me. If anyone has had anything similar

I don't have 100% the same issues, but I do have intense health anxiety. I too have been to the doctor numerous times to get my fast heart rate and chest pains checked out. ECG EKG holter monitor blood work just like you comes back fine, and also just like you I'm not convinced that there isn't something wrong with my heart, because all of it came out of nowhere one day... it's a battle man, my only advice is to do your best to not check your pulse all the time ( i know you're doing it because I do it too) alot of things affect the heart rate that you wouldn't think but something like eating causes your heart rate to jump up significantly.
Hi, I get the weak arms and shoulders in the mornings. I just think I must be tensing my shoulders all night, I am a jaw clencher as well, that seems to make things worse.
I wake with the weakness and like an internal tremor thing going on, it makes me feel a bit sick also.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a cure for it, tried all different ways of sleeping to no avail. At least you are not alone. J x
Really weird it literally came out of nowhere. It mainly happens to my left arm though! How long have you had these symptoms for? Is there a possibility that it is a trapped nerve in your neck?
No, I think mine is stress, through worrying about what is wrong with me. Last year I was on 24hr heart monitor, everything ok....
At the moment I have had four sessions at a corrective chiropractors and I am feeling quite a bit better.
Anxiety and stress can create horrible symptoms, because you live your life being so tense and most times you don't even realise this....and then you worry like crazy about the symptoms, it's a vicious circle.
You need to get checked out by a doctor and this will help you immensely when you get your negative results and hopefully stop the worry. If, however you are still stressed for some reason, you may still have the same symptoms, then you start to worry the doctor got it wrong, never ending circle.
In a nutshell, you need to find out what is stressing you and do something about it. That way you'll get through this.....
I've had a heart echo, 24hr monitor. Been prescribed tablets etc, I guess I am still worried about it. I am also worried about my general body health as well! I'm gonna be persistant tbh and try my best to get it sorted. Thanks for replying
Yes if you are still worried, just ask for what you want done. I have had to do that. It's not easy because it always makes me feel a nuisance....but unfortunately we have to fight to get what we want....good luck to you and let us know how you get on.
