Light headed and numbness

Does anyone wake up in the night with numbness and light headed? I've not been too bad until last night, it makes the next day harder as I'm all shaky inside for the day due to it :(

I have that--how long have you been having it, Love?

Hi DizzyKitty I've been getting it on and off for the last few months, do you get it often it's so weird xx

Well, in my case it was caused by an antibiotic, some can do that, and at its worst I had it for several months. Have you taken any antibiotics? One thing I think might help is a magnesium supplement. I take them, and they don't do any harm.

Hi no I haven't had antibiotics for a very long time, I take magnesium daily as I get palpatations, I also get bad digestive problems,I got very ill over 8 weeks ago, I went to a and e and stayed in for a few days has various tests to no avail I was almost bed bound for 6 weeks I was heavy all over constant palpatations, migraines, numbness, light headed, severe fatigue, I lost alot of weight too. I've had lots of blood tests, urine tests, ecgs, and been to see a endocrinologist all to no avail, next I have to go see a digestive specialist xx

I trust you take a daily probiotic, then--and until you find out what it is, probably best to avoid sugar of any kind, including from white flour. That helps me with my things quite a lot. If I cheat, I do pay for it. I wish you luck in finding your culprit. Knowing what we had goes a long way to alleviating anxiety, that much I know for sure. Avoid grapefruit juice until you know what you have, that's another suggestion. I try to eat a lot of bananas, and I put butter on everything to combat the weight loss :) And of course, I have a nice kitty who purrs beside me in bed at night, and that is the best medicine. If you don't have one, please get a kitty asap. :)

Aww bless I have a hubby and two daughters they keep me busy lol and four birds, two rabbits and tropical fish. I need to take my pro biotics again, which are the best? Ive gone gluten free almost I don't have bread unless it's gluten free and I cut out sugars, still trying to figure this out xx

There are lots of probiotics, as you know, and right now I'm using a RenewLife tablet, it doesn't need to be refrigerated, but I chose it because it was on sale at the vitamin shop that day--they're pricey but worth it. So I can recommend that brand, but you might go have a look in your local shop--the refrigerated ones are supposed to be the best. You might do a google research for the best brands locally. Yogurt is not enough, but it is good to eat it--To cut out sugar, I also avoid potatoes right now (sad) and wine. If I have a drink it will be one beer, gluten free--there is a Belgian brand called Green that makes beer for celiacs that actually tastes good. That's if you drink at all. So yes, take a probiotic, your magnesium, add a high-dose vitamin C, and if you are in a cloudy place, be sure to take a D3 supplement. Most people who don't live in sunny climates are Vitamin D3 deficient as well.

Great thank you the beer sounds good, I don't really drink but when a celebrating I like one or two xx

Good--lots of wine has sugar, and the sugar in beer is different--particularly this kind. Look up Gluten Free beers for others, but the Belgian one is the best I have found, Green's. It's made with sorghum and millet, rather than wheat. It's a little pricey, but worth it for taste and quality, especially if you don't drink often. Why not, right?
