I would call your chiropractor back and ask him/her to explain it to you.

Hi I seen where you y’all about vertigo and now I see your head tilt and just wanted to tell you my experience I too have a head tilt but it’s due to me compensating for my Balance I have bilateral vestibular loss a complete loss of Balance reflex n I caused a head tilt while unknowingly compensating for the loss of Balance .

Good question that I’m waiting for my Ent to answer EXACTLY it’s easy to google but I wanna know what it means I’m my case lol but here a little information:

Bilateral vestibular loss refers to damage to the inner ears on both (bilateral) sides. ... This loss of inner ear input can cause imbalance while walking and performing everyday tasks. Because the inner ears are no longer communicating well with the brain and eyes, a sense of “jumping” or “bouncing” vision can occur.

We arent doctors... im sorry but to most members on here we are litterally looking at an xray.. why didnt you ask your doctor? If he said nothing or said nothing was wrong take his word? If he said nothing at all then you ask him and if he doesnt tell you find a new doctor.. the forum specifically states we arent doctors.. im sorry i wish there was a better post i could say bit this is all true..

Ashley1489, I may not be a doctor but I have looked at plenty of my own cervical x-rays to not understanding either. Taken in the hospital, my xrays were always accompanied by a written explanation of the findings. If the chiropractor didn't tell you anything, there is probably nothing to tell. Your discomfort or pain can be coming from muscles, ligaments and connective tissue and not a disc problem. Take it as a good sign. xx

I just don't get why the nerves are poking out and why he highlighted them ....

Not a Doctor by any means but after dealing with doctors on my dads back problems, sisters neck problems I can tell you this. Everybody's neck, spine and hips etc are all not perfectly aligned or straight. One leg is longer, one arm is shorter, one boob is bigger etc. In turn causes us to naturally twist or lean a certain way, plus as a woman having a child and how you carried them for how many years will all cause a lean or twist. Remember we are not symmetrical beings.

As for the doc not explaining things that just means find another doc, 2nd opinion time for piece of mind. The best doctor in the world is not a good doc if they can't explain or communicate. And the things you say are pointing out (nerves) to me look more like the angle of the x ray and pen marks.

Not what you're looking for?
