Great stuff, it is my personal belief that there is often a big link between the B12 and psychiatric disorders, however the problem, I believe, is that the medical fraternity relies on blood serum B12 levels and these can be flawed, due to using a very high threshhold for deficiency as well as the MTHFR gene mutation, amongst others.  A methylmalonic acid (MMA) test is a much better measure in my opinion.  I have a full list of B12 deficiency symptoms here on my blog site difficulty-swallowing.com/s... so I think if anyone has any of these it is worth battling for comprehensive testing and shots from your doctor.  I couldn't get my doctor to do this and so found an over the counter solution that worked for me instead.

Yes, i had no idea that doctors dont even check for it. You have to ask! I discovered this cause i was getting ridges on my nails & i looked it up and all my symptoms matched! So i figured i have nothing to lise & began taking a supplement. Not sure if thets why ive improved but its worth the shot
