Got the foggy head and pressure on both sides of my head again. Starting to wake up feeling anxious and waiting for it to start. Its like sinus pain on my face but also just behind my temples and ends up making me feel off balance. Do others get this?

Hi misht, these sound like muscle contraction headaches/tension headaches. They are painful but yet different than a migraine. Foggy headed and pressure feeling are the tight muscles in your face and head. It does make you feel off balance as well. When I get these headaches, I usually run some hot water over a washcloth, wring it out and place on face over nose and cheeks. You will release some of the muscle tightness and feel your face and head start to relax. It helps with the fluid that builds up from the tight muscles as well. If severe, I take 1 reg (325mg) Tylenol and a cup of coffee. Then I dim the lights, sit relaxed on the sofa and breath deeply and slowly. Meditation comes into play as well. If in bed, make sure the room is cool and dimly lit or dark. Since tension headaches occur frequently in anxiety, this is one of the safest ways to relieve the pain. An important thing to know is that pain medication should be taken only when necessary and the least amount possible. If taken frequently you will end up with rebound headaches. Hope that helps some. Wishing you peace and tranquility. x
