Why am I so scared to up my meds from 10mg to 20mg of lexapro ugh

Hi Oliveira,  I was scared too when I had to go from 10 to 15 mg of

Lexapro.  I didn't have a problem.  Then after a while the doctor said

I should go to 20mg and I stayed on 15mg.  I think we are all like this

afraid of medication for whatever reason.  Why don't you ask your

doctor if you could just go to 15mg first.  It might end up being all

you need and maybe won't be so bad for you to take that leap of

faith.  Just a thought....

Did u get any side affects when u went to the 15

No,  didn't even notice the difference.  I'm doing well on it.

Thanks gonna have to do it of course today I'm in panic have a bad cold been on antibiotics since Wednesday and only today my temperature is 99.6 and I'm thinking the worse ugh

Unless you have already taken it,  I'd wait until  you are over the bad part of your cold.   I hope you start feeling better when the antibiotics kick in.   Take care, keep me updated with the Lexapro.   xx
