Hi there I'm going to be 48 next month I know exactly what you're going through. I haven't been on that one but I do take Celexa it's an antidepressant and anti-anxiety meds. I take 30 milligrams it definitely helps. I do have the occasion of anxiousness anxiety and panic. The best thing you can do is educate yourself as much as you can on anxiety perimenopause depression... The more you know the easier it is to deal with
Hi, I'm the same age as you and going through the same thing. I take those meds and after a month or two started to feel a little better. They do me me a bit sleepy but that could be down to thyroid problems I have. Do persevere with the meds, they do take a few weeks to make a difference xx
I've been given that, found it one of the best. Hope you feel better x
I was on that and it gave me aniexty. I find my aniexty is bad right now cause I worry about everything plus the change is happening. 7 days late with my period and headaches all the time it's not fun. It was nice to her out today

Hi there! I totally understand what you are experiencing. It is frustrating how doctors are quick to prescribe antidepressants. They should be getting to the root cause not just treat symptoms. I would like you to get a book called, The miracle of bio identical hormones by Dr. Michael Platt. Then you need to go see a highly reputable integrative/functional medicine doctor. I have been treated by my functional medicine MD gynecologist now for the last two years and has made an incredible difference going through Peri menopause. I wish you well!
