Hello everybody

Just signed up and introducing myself.I'm just about to turn 40 and living and dealing with unipolar depression and generalised anxiety disorder. I'm male and I'm from and residing in the north of England.

Signed up to interact with others living and dealing with any health problems and issues.

I'm a strong believer in talking about health problems of any sort not just psychological.

I've been on lots of meds over the years and I'm more than happy to discuss my experiences.

I'm looking forward to talking to you all and getting to know people.

Hopefully I can gain some insight into dealing with my own condition and maybe passing on some tips and advice of my own to others along the way.

I am sure you will be able to relate to so many posts and will be great when you do to share your experiences as well as knowing you have somewhere to talk when you need to get things of your chest to and knowing you are not alone does help even if just a little bit

Best Wishes for your upcoming 40th Birthday , they say life begins at 40 but from personal experience not sure if that is true

I know one thing that starts at 40(for me anyway) eye sight deteriorates,get my first pair of varifocal spec's next week.should be fun!

Wait till you reach the 50 mark - you get invites from Age Concern, Saga, every screening appt they could possibly screen. Really makes you feel old. haha
