Obsessing over breathing

I'm breathing treated for my bronchitis. I've had inflammation for the past 4 months and I just started a steroid yesterday. Also taking flovent and albuterol for my asthma. My nose has been really dry and it gets me anxious cause makes me feel like I can't breathe right then my heart rate goes up! Ahh I also have somatic symptom disorder. Please any feedback .

I understand exactly what your going through I am now the same because 3 weeks ago my lungs started filling with fluids and I couldn't cough it up , it was so traumatizing I still get a bit of panic when my nose get blocked with cold or my chest start wheezing. Spooked me enough to give up smoking haven't touched a fag since.

You are feeling anxious and too be honest its , a normal response .
