I was taking the Salbutamol up to three to four times per day but now only use it twice or less. Would appreciate any thought. Thanks

Have just had dispensed a different salamol inhaler, which is a dry inhaler and has a dose counter on the side. The latter should be easier to monitor instead of having to weigh salamol inhaler. Hope it is as effective as well. Wishing you all a pleasant weekend. 🤗

My numb feet are back, tiredness not that much since i'm using Salbutamol prior exercise, but i don't feel it's enough. The effect of Salbutamol before exercise is not the same as Fostair's.

Hi my asthma really was really bad during having house renovation because of the dust.I was taking my reliever twice a day but i had to use salbutamol quite often.

So I went back to doctors and then they changed to prescribing "Salbutamol", the Chemist was always giving me Ventolin when they see "Salbutamol" written on prescription. Years passed, and now I see the Chemist try to give Salamol instead of Ventolin, have to ask, or insist.

Sorry I feel I've rather unleashed the floodgates 😂 i keep thinking of more questions lol So I collected my prescription and rather than ventolin they'd given me a generic. I had my review on Thursday and the respiratory nurse asked me to try it instead of using my salbutamol, I’m just a bit concerned as I don’t feel my Fostair acts as quickly at opening airways as the salbutamol does. Any advice ?

For example, how many mg of salbutamol are used in CMS treatment, could it work in MG, and does salbutamol wear off that quickly?

My asthma is the worst it's ever been anything sets it off, I had to go to the doctors again today and good job I did needed yet another inhaler I'm on fostair, tiotropium and salbutamol now so yeah alot and the prednisolone tablets so hopefully this should help clear up what ever is aggrevating my breathing

I have been given Ivax salumol instead of my normal Salbutamol. It is awful ,the taste and bitty feeling in my mouth. Has anyone else had a problem with this

Thankyou everyone for you're replys I had to go A E this morning I just couldn't get my breath getting out bed to be honest I sat on end of bed and in the end I decided ta get down stairs I would do it in mad rush I got down oo it harrendos grabbed my salbutamol I couldn't even take it properly

I give up 🤷‍♀️ but was concerned about Salbutamol withdrawal.

They are: A single 900mg dose of aspirin; A single 400mg dose of caffeine; A single 1mg dose of inhaled salbutamol (10 puffs in 5 minutes); A single 0.9mg dose of huperzine A extract. I am not suggesting anyone uses these as a treatment.

Hi I posted last week after my Asthma review with a health care assistant at my GP surgery who basically tried to tell me to use my Fostair as both a preventer & reliever & tried to remove my Salbutamol Inhaler.

He is on Revlar preventer, Salbutamol, Dymista nasal spray for allergic rhinitis, Fexofenadine as antihistamine and montelukast at night. Thank you.

Ps also have salbutamol but doesn't help.

hi everyone, I use Fostair and salbutamol, alongside tiotropium. My hands have been so shaky and sore since flare up which was in November. This makes my hands hard to use and very painful. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to support the pain and shakiness?

I was on symbicort morning and night and then salbutamol as needed, however the past two weeks my asthma has flared up resulting in prednisone for 5 days (which ended the same day I got switched to fostair) I got switched to fostair 100/6 on the mart scheme , I’ve been using fostair for 4 days now
