Hello.

Dose any body other than me get so worked up when I send someone a message and they don't answer.

I know people have there own life and have things todo. But I just always get the worry if the don't message me back I have done some thing to up set them and they don't want to talk to me. It drives me crazy feeling like this and I wish I didn't but my mind won't et me.

Oh yes! Any sort of message, text, IM, anything at all. And a paranoia when I see someone over thinking anything that they may say, so they seem off? Didthey talk as much as normal? Do they think I'm being off ? Did anything I say offend them etc ? It makes me feel needy and that us NOT me at all.

I could totally never understand how many parts of someone's life anxiety can turn into a jumble! X

I'm glad it's not just me that feels like this. It really gets to me feeling like this I have even thought about giving my job up and staying away from people to try and help my self.

Oh no please don't do that. At least not yet. It will isolate you and then you go from working and being busy to then what am I supposed to do all day now. You have more time to brood, worry, think and be totally irrational like me 😄

It is so hard, this jumbled everything. Are you getting any help? X

Everything takes time. We didn't get like this in an instant so it won't be a quick fix but I totally know what it's like to want it to just stop and scratch it out of you. This problem is all in our heads as we say but the mind is so freaking powerful and it takes over. If it's early days for you then give it some time no matter how much worse you may feel but if things don't seem to be working for you then you need to go back to your dr and talk to them about changing etc. I'm still waiting on help at the moment so my toolbox is basically empty of tools to cope for now.

Keep your head up barman. We are all in the same boat here and all understand what you are going through. There's some real pro's on here who have learnt how to deal with this and have amazing advice. Keep posting we'll do all we can and know that each of us are in the same boat, we truly understand x

Hello

I think a lot may relate to how you feel in these circumstances and the thought crosses all our minds but then I think you get to a stage where you may message after a while and say is everything ok I have not heard back from you and if they still don't get back you start to think O whatever , let it be your problem not mine :-/

I think because we are anxious we do look for an instant response and can forget that others are not the same they may have read your message but just don't see the need for an instant response , they could be busy , read the message and just thought I will reply later and then forget , could be all sorts of reasons but always remember a friend will get back to you eventually and if they don't they were never a friend in the first place so you have not lost anything :-/

Take Care and if you don't acknowledge my reply within 5 minutes I shall start to worry :-D x

Hi. Just want to back up what other people have said - please dont feel you have done anything wrong or upset anyone. There are times when there are lots of people around and times when fewer are around, and not everyone has the confidence to reply to others sometimes. Normally I am here during day, but today I had to go fopr a medical review so was out for some hours, otherwise I would have replied to you :-) I understand that it is not nice to feel alone and that no one is there for you when you need some reassurance. So feel reassured that people do care about you :-) Your illness will try to make you feel all kinds of things that will upset you. But for sure you will find support and care and understanding in this group - we are all in the same boat :-)
