Weak hands

Anyone else get weakness in the hands? It's usually in the morning? I've convinced myself I have MND/ALS.. I'm freaking myself out.! I can lift things they just feel really light 😩😩

Hi. Like many of the symptoms discussed on here, your weak hands may be as the result of one of many physical problems such as , tendinitis, osteoarthritis, nerve damage and many others. If you have already had them checked for physical causes and nothing is found, then we inevitably come back to anxiety as the cause. There are so many pains that anxiety can cause to people - its almost beyond belief.

The two illnesses you think you may have can be confirmed or not through various tests. But there are many other symptoms that you would have noticed apart from hand weakness. However, just to put your mind at ease you should ask your doctor about testing. I hope things are not as bad as you think they might be.
