Fainting and weakness
There's a lot of possibilities for this. If you feel tired and weak all the time it could be anemia (not enough red blood cells in your body). Maybe something related to your blood pressure such as orthostatic hypotension (blood pressure drops when you stand up after lying down or sitting for a while) or postprandial hypotension (blood pressure drops after eating a meal). Could also be hypothyroidism or related to your medication. I recommend telling your doctor your exact symptoms and see if any further testing is necessary.
I do have hypothyroidism but some reason I've just been getting worse every year I won't get my results until the 26 of sep
In that case it is most likely related to the hypothyroidism. You should check how your hormone levels are looking, but if you are receiving your proper treatment it shouldn't be related.
Hi Baily97,
Fainting and weakness have a myriad of causes. Just type in fainting and weakness into a search engine and see what pops up. As you are in this forum, my guess (I am not a doctor) is anxiety is the cause. Wait and see what the blood tests tell you then discuss any concerns with the doctor. I am interested to see what the doc comes up with
Hi. Sounds alot like low ferritin, the weak and fainting feeling is awful! Hope you got some answers on this.
I feel like this a lot too. I have severe anxiety and am also hypothyroid. Since my medicine is working for my thyroid I assume it's just another bad feeling from the anxiety.
