apparently other than Major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder,OCD and PTSD I have been diagnosed with depersonalization/dr. It feels like I am slowly losing my mind. I also have vertigo, I live with this everyday and it seems like people just don't understand because I look healthy on the outside

Always remember that you are in control of your own mind, no matter how much external influences drag you down and make you feel bad it is up to you whether or not you decide to let it affect you, depersonalization is usually caused by a lack of social motivation, you should try to find a purpose in life, whether that be progressing morally, academically, socially etc. As you progress mentally you will pick up habits that enable you to cope with reality a bit better, from what you said it will be a long process but there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I used to have similar symptoms as you, until I decided I had enough of feeling terrible with myself everyday, I focused on the positives in my life and tried to better myself as a person, it took me a few years but i'm now an outgoing individual that wakes up every morning looking forward to the day ahead of me. Faith and perseverance is the only way to overcome these issues.

HI. All of the issues you mention in your post are linked, and part of the problem for others is , as you say, the outside looks fine. You did not mention what medical interventions there have been in terms of medication or therapy. By far, the greatest success in overcoming this illness has come from therapy or a combination of therapy and short term medication. There is a reason for your illness - it has a root cause. Finding that root cause will enable you to overcome the anxiety and related issues it brings.

The vertigo may or may not be related. It is a stand alone issue and may be as a result of a physical rather than mental or emotional condition. Vertigo is something that can easily be diagnosed and treated, removing one thing for you to worry about.
