It's just wood. I wouldn't swallow the whole thing, but hurt you? Besides a choking hazard? I don't believe so. Otherwise they wouldn't put popsicles on them.

You may poop out a fudge bar. Hang in there my friend you will be fine. My daughter chewed open a glow Stick her mother was glowing all the way to the hospital years ago. We were scared to death. They couldn't stop laughing in the hospital they took pictures with her with this lights dimmed. We laugh about it all the time now.
