Feeling ok

Feeling pretty good today so far, that’s anxiety for you as I had a shitty day yesterday. Up and down like a yoyo. I guess we have to embrace the good days and hopefully they eventually stay.

Wondering if there are any older people that use this site. I’m 64.

I can feel ok then not ok in the same day sometimes the same hour! It’s overwhelming because I never know how I’m going to feel from one moment tobtye next. Makes it hard to plan anything!!!

Trust me it happens to me also. Do you take meds?

Yes I’m on Lexapro (just switched from viibryd) and been on klonopin for at least 10 years. I hate that I have to take them. I’m also on nadalol for bp and fast heart rate. It’s supposed to help migraines too. I’m really tired of being human sometimes😥

I have a lot of days where I just drop my bundle and want to give up. We just hang in there hoping each day to feel better. It’s so hard though.

Glad you are feeling ok today! Hope your ok days continue to increase. Today was a rough one for me but I am still here thankfully. Welcome to the site

Well hello Bobbyabby. It is nice to hear from you. Yes, there are people from all ages, with all sorts of hurts, habits and hang ups. We share our problems, and try to help each other.

Bobbyabby did you know that you can control anxiety in some ways just by what you eat? Yes, I have found that out to work for me. It is different for everyone but mostly it does work. I experience anxiety from separation of my loved ones. I am happy to say that with some eating habit changes and other methods, I am recovering from it and it no longer has a strong hold over me. What kind of things do you do?

I’ve just started walking again, and I get out a couple of times a week to watch the grandkids play basketball. Other than that I’m home with my dogs. I have a lot of time to brood.

Hi, I would like to know what foods you eat and avoid? I know they are triggers..Not to give tmi..lol..i suffer from horrible constipation..and it makes my anxiety so much worse. The normal foods that help most..have not worked for me..had this issue all my life..and it makes me MISERABLE! THANKS!

in reply to

I don’t really avoid any foods but I try not to add salt to anything. I don’t drink coffee or drink alcohol. What do you avoid?

in reply to

The same..coffee salt sugar. As much as possible.

Yes! I feel the yo-yo thing. You aren’t alone. ❤️

in reply toRockmeamadeus

Be good if the yo-yo stayed up a bit longer. Oh I guess we just plod on and do our best. I’ve started 10min meditation a day see how that goes. I really have to make myself do it though like most things.

Cheers
