Hi Lornatorie , anxiety has many many physical symptoms and I don't wanna scare you ... I'm feeling the samething your feeling as I write this reply.. Yes anxiety causes shortness of breath chest tightness chest and abdominal pressure ... Numbness anywhere on your body sometimes it might be your entire body numb ,. I've been dealing with the shortness of breath non stop all day long for over three weeks now went up the ER twice but all was cleared n said its anxiety .. Had many test done EKG Echo stress blood work etc all was normal not once but many times over a four month period .. They said I had Gerd acid reflux and was causing my shortness of breath even tho I haven't been diagnosed by a gi doctor.. My head feels weird as if I'm gonna pass out cause of my breathing I'm assume .. But you should always first thing check with your primary doctor write all your symptoms and concern and make sure you get a clear on your health then you would know more if its anxiety or not .. Wish you luck feel better .. You can message me anytime or a post .. God Bless...

hi their when you feel an attack coming on try some deep breathing to try to control your breathing the more you breath slowly in and out the better you will be please try this and let me know if it helps you take care bigalan x

I'm in the exact same boat! All day every day my head hurts it feels like theres so much pressure on it, my jaw hurts my Teath hurt my eyes are going blury and I'm seeing flashes of light, I have no appetite I hardly sleep because I'm scared if I die in my sleep.. but if I do get to sleep I get shocks and it wakes me up I'm convinced I don't have long to live but the doctors say I'm fine, apart from a iron deficiency. Completely ruined my life
