It feels so real

It's weird how my anxiety can make me feel like something horrible is going to happen when it never does. Like yesterday I convinced and I mean convinced myself I was going to pass out! I've never passed our before so I don't even know what it's like?! And today I convinced myself I was going to have a seizure. I've never had a seizure before. It's so strange, it feels so real though.

Has anyone else been through the same thing? If so, how did you deal with it?

Yes, It has... and more than a kabillion times.

And, I just get equally scared everytime. I may not let it come on my face, since I have trained myself in all these days, But it feels equally REAL.

You are not the only one. You feed your anxiety with the negative thoughts, that in turn feeds your imgaination, which in turn ends you up believing that something terrible is goin to happen.

But eventually it doesn't happen, and yet we don't learn. Because the problem is, we cannot. Anxiety gives you phyiscall symptoms, and that can't be ignored, no matter how good you become. You will be scared, and will feel it is real. But that's the good part, there's always scope to learn. You will eventually find a way(not get over it) but to live with it.

Hope that helps.

PEACE

Please do not worry about passing out. I have recently had a really bad relapse with my anxiety, I got so bad that I did start passing out and I had a seizure, I had to go for an MRI scan and ct scan was horrible, but it was all down to my anxiety so pleaseeeeeee try and stay as calm as possible as if you worry it will affect you physically.

I am slowly getting my anxiety back under control and feeling a lot better so it just shows that your anxiety does affect how you feel physically x

Hi! I just got a notification to my email about this! This was 2 and a half years ago and I have improved absolutely tremendously since then. The trick to it is to ignore the intrusive thoughts. It won't happen, it never will. There's no reason for you to die, there's nothing wrong. I did this for so long and it slowly disappeared. Hope I helped :)
