An adrenaline rush: So yesterday out of no... - Anxiety Support
An adrenaline rush
I sometimes feel flushed , but if you are ok , which is GREAT! :)) & should be your focus then yes..I'd say with confidence..it's nothing to fret over ..& it's simply anxiety. Were you stressed out before you felt flushed ? Or maybe panicky or anxious? Oh..& don't be like me ..I went online to see ..& geez the sites I went on ..ugh I was panicky for a bit til I saw my physician & counselor. Lol but yeah I had similar feelings..anxiety truly throws of bunch of bs our way lol it varies ..the same panic attack or anxious moment you had one month may change that next month ..ya know? πππ
Yesterday morning my landlord came to fix my shower and we'll at the end he didn't do what I had asked for.. and we'll unconsciously I was thinking of how I was going to fix it.. and we'll I was sitting down watching TV when I felt like that the first couple of seconds I panicked but then I remembered to breath and it was over in less than a minute. . It feels horrible. . Ive had many test done and everyone keep on telling me in healthy. . And that we'll it's anxiety. . I still have to make an appointment with the psychologist that I was referred too.....
I see . Yeah anxiety is crap ..
It's cool you are seeing a psychiatrist about this. Same thing here , getting that feeling & plenty other feelings & got told it's only anxiety ..which on one hand is GREAT lol but then kinda sucks cuz now I have to learn how to relax ..which has been rough ..but I'm sure your psychiatrist & you will work things out & you'll be worlds better :))
I still have to make an appointment. . Honestly I'm scared to go.. because I knw she/he will make me bring everything out from my past.. I had a very hard childhood and back in 07 I was assaulted at gun point.. I've been thru a lot.. so now I guess after so many years it has finally caught up to me πππ
Yep . Geez that's rough. But hey , you got through that. ! & yes, they will. My counselor prefers me to open up & i had some bs go on with me in the past. But, it'll be worth it, venting & talking about it. You'll be better..for sure. they have tissues ..stress balls ..anything in that office , probably. You'll be fine ..
I also get that Rush occasionally. Its scarey, for sure. I have copd, so I always think it's something to do with that. Don't think so. It is like an adrenaline rush. I also have anxiety issues. I'm over sensitive to my heartbeat. Thats my biggest anxiety symptom. The pounding heartbeat when your nervous.
Hang in there....

Yes its totally related to anxiety. I had lots of fear before but i read a psychology book and it explains exactly what happens when you get an anxiety attack and why, and what happens to your body and it has helped me remove the fear. Specially of death cause it says you cant die from it it assures. And i believe this is what we are more scared of i know exactly how you feel. But also you need to change habits to avoid it, little by little.if your impatient try to have patience and after time you will develope patience. Just practice and practice. Hope this helps it has helped me lots.
Welcome to the club brother. Well sorry I know I am not helping, However I just hope you don't join the club. What you shared is totally anxiety. But I just wish it isn't. I also wish it isn't something serious. I am happy as well as sorry for you. Happy that it is absolutely just anxiety, however sorry for the same reason.
Hi. I know this is an old post but I'm getting these types of rushes described here. Had a couple last year but now I'm getting them almost daily. Mainly in a mornings as I take so long to get going and never have any energy first thing till mid day. Have been under lots of stress since June, lost job, elderly Mum ill, and bad anxiety flare up. Been to Dr several times about it but says anxiety as usual. ECG normal, bloods normal.
I am wondering if anyone gets them on exertion though? I've had them when doing stuff like bringing the shopping in from the car, rubbing marks off the window, and got one when the dog was pulling on her lead a bit whilst holding onto her... I'm panicking it's my heart. It makes me feel a bit fainty and then I have to rush for the loo. Can't see that anxiety would cause this π
