Horrible head ache
Awww I hope your feeling a bit better I get head tension and headache because I clench my teeth do u clench down on your teeth and headache is a symptom of anxiety as well try not to worry
Hi Claire I once had a headache for 6 months, was down to stress and anxiety so Dr put me on meds and ended up on them for about 2 years. I still get them occasionally when I'm stressing out (which is most of the time) or getting anxious. I hope you feel better soon

Hello
If this has been going on for a while go see your GP, He will put your mind at rest
Hey, there
I think it's best to see your GP, because the more you put off seeing the doc, the worse your symptoms could get, and most likely due to your anxiety amplifying it. I am sure its nothing major....Please keep us posted and good luck.

Hi
Dull tight bands of pain round the head are in my personal experience quite common with anxiety. Mine also tends to go behind my right eye too I have have had this kind of pain pretty much constantly for over 10 year and had several MR and CT scans which has ruled out all the more worrying possibilities. Certainly go to your doctor, advise the symptoms and they will assess whether any other kind of check ups are necessary -it never hurts to rule out other possibilities. Does the pain ever reduce when you are relaxed or distracted if so anxiety is a good possibility. One big tip if you get a proper medical view that nothing else is going on try to accept it. By constantly worrying about something we can add a 2nd level of anxiety and that can actually make the pain worse or feel worse. I think when you have severe anxiety your body become much more sensistised and you more aware of discomfort, focus on it, get annoyed by it and hey presto its always there. I have learned to live with mine, i wish it would go but what the hell i can still enjoy stuff even with it. I should add i also have arthritus in my neck and a sinus problem which probably gives me the constancy even when my anxiety is managed.
Take care
Mike
