Hey cmoney

Thanks for the quick reply

Glad to see I'm not alone.

I was just sitting there watching a movie with my lil girl and became extremely lightheaded but stopped as soon as I moved. Weird

Why do we get so lightheaded like that with no other symptoms?

No I'm not on anything right now. My dr has prescribed me Effexor but I'm afraid to take them because cymbalta I had a bad reaction to and then citalopram made my symptoms 100x worse.

I feel so lost. So tired of being so scared :(

Hi Pink do you try breathing exercises when you feel yourself becoming light-headed? Regards Rib

I think all of us who go through this feel similar. I have had this for 30 odd years so just have a little more practice at dealing with it. It don't make me an expert or anything and I still get bad times.

I try to focus on my breathing and try to calm down with slow even breathing. Not as deep as I can as I know that makes me feel worse. Slow even breathe in and count 5 then slow breathe out. I find it helps me. The oxygen gets my heart beating regularly and the lightheaded feeling gets under control easier for me. Regards Rib
