Anxiety
Hi duster, try to take solace in the fact that the doctor has told you your heart is ok. I went through the same thing last fall, even had an abnormal ekg & was admitted to the hospital. Try to do the right things in terms of eating right and exercising so you stay healthy. You'll feel better knowing you are taking control. Try to do something relaxing. Meditation or listening to new age type music might help. Try Louise Hay CDs. Hope you feel better.
Thanks. exercise isn't an option anymore I had to stop all kick boxing training because of this issue now I can't get the nerve to exercise
Hello duster
I'm sorry to hear your going through this as well.
My anxiety is all based around my heart as well and I know how you feel about the exercising. Your afraid to as am I but we shouldn't be. Exercise is so wonderful for us. Just start with walking. I'm trying to get into the habit of doing so everyday.
Try reading, meditation, deep breathing, a self help program maybe.
Keep a daily journal of your thoughts feelings and how your anxiety was that day.
Hope your feeling better
Nice that someone who understands the fear is a lot sometimes too much but recently I have been doing a lot of walking but that doesn't cut it for me since I used to run 10 km 3 times a week.
Meditation I started helps for 30 minutes but then I'm back where I started
This is definitely what I felt before I had my first anxiety/panic attack. BUT I got a panic attack because I had look online of what it could be and one of the symptoms were heart attack and I thought I was having a hear attack that's why. I would say there is nothing wrong with you but definitely tell your doctor and ask if everything is OK.
