I hate feeling like a prisoner in my own mind my own body . I pray and pray I will stop feeling like this im greatful for my life I am but somedays day's like this its so hard to even focus on the positive

What's going on?
Thx and idk I was just feeling like something bad was going to happen when I was out but I made it home im fine and now I just feel dumb that I think like that and let it control my life
I know that feeling all too well. Earlier today when I started to feel really weak I had this horrible feeling something terrible was going to happen. It's the worst.

Yes ! Exactly ugh ppl really act surprised when I say I have anxiety but it can really happen to any of us doesnt matter age , sex , race but yes I actually am feeling wayy better now had to get my self out of that its hard but possible
I know it is possible that this could be your depression/anxiety.
But in moments like these, never forget to ask yourself, are you leading the life you would like. Are you creating your life or do you feel like you are being controlled by it or do you feel like you are living for someone else or by someone elses ideals set forth upon you as an expectation. And are you hiding from those pressures? What steps do you need to take to be the creator of your world. How can you release the pressure?
Though I have often tried to shrug off my depressions, I have also learned to look within them and fully understand what was causing them. I beleive depressions are painful but they also bring you so deep within your consciousness that it helps you see your life based on what needs to change on a great scale.
I invite you as a sort of exercise to write these things down.

Your mind is like a computer, it does only what it's program to do. You have to change the way you think. When a negative thought comes into your head, replace it immediately with a positive one. Much of what we think will never come true. Some of what we think, we can do nothing about. So why worry. Repeating to yourself, "I am fine. Nothing bad is going to happen" helps. Seeing a therapist about your anxieties helps...getting feedback about what you are anxious about. We are not our creator. We are created by God. Think of the miracle of conception, birth and growth into an adult. However, we create our thoughts or allow somewhat else to put thoughts in our head. Prayed for you, Lulu.

I believe in God as well and I think we are never alone; there is an unseen world and we are watched over at all times.
Last week I was looking for something to cheer me up and to get me out of my state of anxiousness and lack of sleep. I found a video which is very interesting and helpful. I had never heard about the guy who is speaking.
