Oh Why Do I Feel like this???

I am so down with feeling like this its so worrying me now surely feeling this dizzy and light headed isnt anxiety i feel like i am floating its awful and i am afraid of this now feel like my eyes cant focus just want to cry now

Sheffield i had the exact same anxiety symptoms this time last yr, it is anxiety sweety. U will soon start feeling more up then down once ur tablets kick in. Uve just gotta try and bare with it, keep in mind that ur tablets am not working probley yet but wen they do u will start feeling better. This time nxt mth u will luk back and think to urself how bad u felt but u r getting there love donna xxx

I also get the dizzy and the vision playing up when my anxiety kicks in had that today when was out walking.

Remember what i always say G if you need to know for sure give that GP a call i have seen my gp so meany times over my anxiety and depression that last year he gave me a Christmas card lol..

Sheff, so sorry to hear you feeling that bad, can tell how scared and stressed you are. I am sure it is just the anxiety, as I know I get such similar symptoms. However, I think you said you had only been taking the tablets a short while, so has this symptom started or got much worse since then? If so, maybe discuss with your GP incase it's due to a side effect of the meds? But, in the meantime, concentrate on regulating your breathing, because hyperventilating would make those symtoms worse, and try and do something to take your mind off it. Hope you have someone with you. Take care hun xx

thanks guys really trying and trying to keep positive with the help of you i just really dont feel to good feeling low and afraid of this dizziness i feel my breathing is so shallow thanks guys love ya:( xxx

Hey, I understand exactly how u feel. It's all part of anxiety, it took me years to believe it and I'm bak to square one again but the dizziness is the worst part of it. I absolutely hate being dizzy and it sets me into a full blown panic attack. I get the feeling that I am in someone else's body sometimes, don't quite feel myself, feel dizzy, weak, shaky and my eyes get sore and my vision goes blurry. I am gettin better now and have came of medication although I took a dizzy turn at work today ( not sure why) but I had to talk myself out of a panic because of it. Have u had blood tests ? I had them done as I Thot I was enemic and that was causing the dizzy spells but all came back fine so I guess we can say anxiety defo causes dizziness. Try distracting urself with something wen u feel dizzy.

Sorry to hear how upset you are today and i can feel your worry it is most likely anxiety and panic attacks. I felt an isolated case but being here with people who understand can help.

Hi,

Hope you are starting to feel better! I can completely understand how you are feeling. Don't worry it will be your anxiety. This is what anxiety does, it makes us feel all strange and ill, and when one symptom goes another comes, and it can be even worse! But the main thing is not to worry! It doesn't last forever, it is beatable and you will defeat it. You're not alone in this :) For example, my anxiety wakes me up in the night having panics, or feeling faint, or odd, or like I might swallow my tongue! Even tonight I probably will wake up in a few hours feeling horrid. It is a really hard illness, it convinces you something is seriously wrong with you, but it isn't and you are ok, it is just your nervous system, it can't harm you.

Just remind yourself you are in control of your mind.
