I'm going on holiday in June and no matter what I try or think of as soon as the day approaches that I'm getting on a plane my stomach gets nervous and I spend hours in and out the toilet, not sure what I'm scared of but I build my stress levels up to a point I get to destination feeling like death warmed up x

Fear of flying
Hi Lynne.
If you have a word with your doctor he may give you some Diazapam to take before you board the plane or you could try listening to music or even a talking book just to distract you.

Have you been to GP? Mine perscribed me diazepam as I am not great with flying. Took a couple ad relaxed and seemed to be ok. Travelling is very stressful so can completely understand nervous tummy etc! Where abouts are you going? Sure you will have a lovely time x
I'm going to Crete June and July,as much as I make myself physically ill I always get on the plane,il see what my doctor recommends.my biggest fear is turbulence as soon as it starts doesn't matter what I'm doing I just get more worked up by it all and start feeling like I'm going to die, sounds stupid and I feel daft at 39 being scared x
hi lynne, completely agree with previous comments, diazepam is great to relax you for a flight, it will surprise you how many are prescribed for this alone, turbulence is completely natural for planes , they are built to withstand much greater amounts than you will ever feel, so enjoy your hols, love jasper xx
I Have A Tightness In .My Head Scalp Nothing Seem To Help
Diazepam!!I have a drink just for good measure as well, just don't overdo it!Before you know it, you'll be at your destination, feeling carefree!!!
my hubby always gets diazapam of the DR for flying, they dont usually have a problem giving out a few when they know what its for,and they work a treat..enjoy your hols.xx
