Happy easter though!
Hi pink x yes I find unfortunately with my anxiety I miss out on a lot. I'm agoraphobic so have not been out in over a year bar the odd trip into the garden and such. I miss out on school events with my kids holidays and gen dates out even shopping. I don't have friends anymore they all gave up on me sadly but I know when I'm better it will be a case of only bothering with those who stuck around xx my family x I deal with it by telling myself it's a blip and it will go, I just have to b patient xx happy Easter xx
Oh no sorry to hear that :/! Im the same went out once felt faint and dizzy and had ti go back to car since then dont want to go again :/! Thankyou have a good day!
Really hope you feel better soon!! Please see my messages to PinkCookie. You might also want to check out a list of things apart from food intolerances that might cause anxiety. I found one at Great Plains Labs (USA) and later found out too much copper in my blood might elevate anxiety. Many other things might affect you. You can also look at the home page at "Brain Bio Centre" in London.
My best regards to you!
Hi
I have had the same happening every time a depression has been present - 5 times now - just starting to get out from the darkness of the latest (13 months long). This time I have tried to tell my closest most trusted friends and family members how I feel and asked them to visit and go for walks with me, if time permits them to do so. Was VERY difficult to ask, as I felt it highly embarassing but it has helped a lot as they now know how I feel and that I need their support. Best wishes to you!! Always remember that those very dark days will eventually pass.
By the way, forgot to mention that I felt a great deal of relief from the anxiety that made me unable to leave the home unaccompanied for many months, after eliminating foods a test (IgG) showed my immunesystem reacts to. Perhaps this could also be an issue for you - and Donver.
Many months later (this January) I read Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride's book "GAPS - Gut And Psychology Syndrome" and started following a grain-free diet rich in fats (coconut, avo, olive, animal and fish oils) plus a lot of home made soups and min. 4 eggs yolks (amino acids) a day. After about 3 weeks the moods got much much better. Still don't know what happened. The GAPS diet involves more - especially fermented foods and probiotics which I am getting ready to try.
Please check out Dr. Kelly Brogan (New York) dietary recommandations - only found them recently but they are very simmilar to my current diet and might help someone else.
Take care!!
I find that when I'm alone in the house, I will not go anywhere no matter how much I want to go out. I am much more comfortable going out with someone else and I now avoid places where I've had bad experiences. Recently, I was working somewhere and they unfairly dismissed me, I now avoid going near that workplace and avoid the shops nearby it at lunchtime in case I bump into an old employee.
