Hi young man :-)

Thank you for answering on my last post , I will get round to thanking you on it eventually

:-)

Now , I am going to give you some examples here , that might help a little bit

I have a son round your age , he can get a bit like you with HA

So he had a virus , made his balance go of & went to the doctors , she told him what is was , he did fret but then he was left with earache !

This went on for a couple of weeks he then started going on about earache , he was really focusing in on it , till I said ok go & let the doctor look

He did & he did have a little infection in there so she gave him some drops which seemed to reassure him

After just one application of the drops , he instantly started to feel better !

Reason been as I relate to this was even though he still will have had earache , the fact he know knew that was all it was & he had something to take it away his mind stopped focusing in on what he could feel & his thoughts reversed to that he will feel better soon , so it is our minds that cause us to feel a lot of what we are feeling & we need to work on reversing the thoughts !

You shoulder hurts but you have had it checked , nothing wrong , so every twinge & pain instead of saying its fine we zoom in & the more we do the more we feel it & the bigger the scenario of what it is builds up in our minds till are anxiety starts going through the roof !

Then of course we cant sleep & lack of sleep really doesn't help are thinking & the circle & pattern keeps going round & round

I am doing something very similar at the moment myself & that is after years of knowing how this works , so I know its not easy , but you are young , oh I wish I was your age again :-) nothing is seriously wrong physically , its mentally where the problem lies & when you get this therapy it will really help you to see this & been so young you will be able to move forward & enjoy a wonderful life that I know you have in front of you to enjoy :-)

Have you thought about the voluntary work I mentioned if you can find some to try & keep your mind more occupied , I think it would also help with your self esteem as well :-)

Now after reading all this , you should have dropped to sleep , hope its worked :-/

Love

Afternoon Dameinlee,

I agree with whywhy, you have had your shoulder check and all is fine.

It's the darn over thinking we tend to do when we have anxiety, so we start over checking things and making up stories in our head as to what we think is really wrong with us. I am the worlds worse over thinker so I kind of know where you are coming from.

Try not to read news papers and watch the news that might help.

There is a lot more going on in the world that is good, but that never seems to make the news or papers.

We are all here to support you okay.

I remember the first week after my first panic attack I began to overthink a lot of things I did not have control over. For me it was how much litter and trash there was in my neighborhood park. I began to worry about the world and how much trash was built up and the more I thought about it the more worried I became and the more anxious I got.

I finally had an 'a-ha' moment and realized that my room and car were messy too, but because of my own doing. I realized that before I tried to 'save the world' I must first help myself. I took control of the things around me to make my personal space more comfortable and clean. Now whenever I go on a run or walk I try and pick up neighborhood trash to do my part and help the environment.

I guess what I'm saying is that anxiety makes you see things in a whole different light, I think because our mind is looking for a problem to solve. My advise for you is to focus on the things that are in your control. As gardener said, try an avoid the news as it will not be helpful at this time. Meditation has helped me, as well as yoga and walking. Trust me I know a lot of the advise you get is easier said then done, but once you take that first step to self improvement, things will slowly begin to balance themselves. Good luck.
