Hi Kenny,

I am here. My daughter has a friend over for playing this morning and it makes me feel a little bit better that at least she is having a good time. You know, the 'I'm not a completely useless parent' feeling. At the same time, I am here feeling the anxiety flaring up every few minutes and very anxious about what's going on around my house. I just really, really wish I could be somewhere else.

It's so draining.

Fortunately both my sons are grown up and the only disruptive thing in my house it my little westie he can be a nightmare at times.

That's the thing isn't it - on one side it's nice to have company, on the other it brings responsibility and sometimes stress.

good morning Kenny, hope you had a good nights kip, just getting ready to go to my wifes visually impaired group in sunderland, where we will put all the worlds troubles to right, good old natter , and I do believe it is cake day, when any of our group has a birthday he or she buys the cakes,am sure some of us have more than one birthday a year, enjoy your day mate.jasper x

I'm just having a restful day today after my trauma of having my hair cut yesterday!

I'm going to have a go at making a rainbow cake today. The wedding cake I'm doing needs a rainbow layer!
