I hope you are sleeping now & how you were feeling has passed
When I get these feelings coming on I try & do my breathing slowly breathing in & holding for a couple of seconds & then slowly breathing back out , it can help to stop a panic attack becoming full blown
Also the more we fear this may turn into a full blown panic attack the more we will feel anxious so I say out loud to be honest at times , come on & do your worse & sometimes it does & sometimes it decides not to bother but either way I tell myself it will pass & yes it is really unpleasant but it wont harm me this helps to give it less control

Thanks Whywhy,I do the breathing too,but it's taken a long time tonight.At last it's worked and I've had a decent sleep.This time I know what was causing the anxiety.Feel calmer now xxx
