Hi. Rose. If I could only reach out and hold your hand. Bear up. You are needed here so get back to 'normal service' ASAP. Love and hope you feel better. jonathan.

im thinking of you as well.! im sure you will bounce back.....you are needed on here. xx just got me thinking.......how do we know what the difference is between stress, anxiety or depression.? anyone define it ?
Hi. sueron. Yes. Stress is normal. We all have stress at times and when we are well it is not harmful and, in some cases, can be helpful. Almost any activity contains stress. Even playing tennis could cause stress (especially if you are losing!). But normally the results of stress diminish and disappear in a 'normal' person. When we are sensitised it does not disappear because we get worried about the feelings and thus create Anxiety. We have become sensitised. So Anxiety follows stress. It is simply an enhanced state of stress with exaggerated feelings which we cannot shake off. Depression is better described as 'Depletion'. It is when our supply of energy is eaten up by the continued thrashing of ourselves with Anxiety and fear. So we are stressed to which we respond with Anxiety, because the feelings frighten us, then we become 'depleted' because we have used up all our energy. (We are depressed).
It always starts with sensitisation. This is the bogey. Some event; a row at work or at home; a family problem or crisis can sensitise us. The 'normal' (whatever that means) people get over it and carry on. We, the sensitised ones are not so lucky. Love and blessings. jonathan.
BriarRose a big hug from me to you. You have been a big help to me and i cant come on here and ignore the fact you were having a bad day yesterday.
I do hope you're strength that you show to others will help you to overcome the tough times you have.
Love Lou. x

Big hug from me too, thinking of you xx
Oh, bless you all, you're SO kind! (good tears!)
I just had to go and "fight" with my doctor to see a physiotherapist about my arthritis - he'd been very dismissive before. And - I know this is stupid - got myself into a right state beforehand, and was exhausted for days after - couldn't string a sentence together - even though he caved in immediately, and I got the result I wanted!
Bless you all, I can't express my thanks for all your kindness and good wishes!
Lots of love
Rose
