Dentist again

After being at the dentist on Friday with abscess I had to go back again today,swelling had went right up my face also giving me a black eye,I was in the dentist chair 50 minutes,he decided he would need to drill into the roots to inject antibiotics ,did,nt work,so will need to go back Friday!

Oh Linda that sounds really painful and it didn't work after 50mins in the chair! I really hope things get sorted on Friday for you thats awful love eve x

I did tell dentist I was trying to be brave,I had no pain relieve as he said injection would be sorer than the treatment,it was only sore sometimes,he was trying to drill into the roots to let some of the infection drain ,but he could not get into the root canal so it was all for nothing but I notice the swelling is going down tonight so that's good.

They have to give me more than usual when I go , don't no how you managed that !

Sounds like it may have done a little something then hopefully !

By Friday the antibiotics should have took most of the infection away & they will be able to do it successfully for you :

Blimey lindalou your brave, I could never have that done without the injection to numb it first, had a bit of bother with root canal fillings few months ago, had a cyst in gum that had to be drained but after the canal filling it's still not cleared up so dentists referred me to hospital he says I'll have to have gum cut open to get rid of it or lose tooth still waiting to see if I'll get appt on nhs or will have to pay , hope yours gets sorted soon xx
