hi adele, firstly is it anxiety, like a panic attack causing this? or is it due to something physical? I can't tell from what you've written, but ave no medical training either.
if it'something physical, please consider calling 101 for advice.
If it's anxiety, try maybe concentrate on slowing your breathing to normal, sitting or lying comfortably, and trying to focus on something nice, slowly count to five, or saying quietly to yourself a calming phrase, like a mantra, such as "I am ok, and I am fine"
don't stress about needing to go to sleep. you might find you ill just drift off.
let me know how you got on.
Thanks for replying I had a rough nite but I must have fell asleep after 3. My gp reckons because my thyroid is high its making my anxiety worse. My blood pressure is ok
