Jaw ache

Is anybody on setraline 50 mg if so have they noticed there jaw aches or is it just me.

hi scoobyd, o/h been on sertraline for about 6 months now and had no jaw aching, but everyone has reaction to meds in different ways, have you only been on a short time?, hope it starts to wear off soon. take carexx

Hi i am not on meds now, as been told to stop, jaw ache can be anxiety, i often am taking tabs for jaw pain, it feels like all my teeth have a toothache at times

I've had jaw ache all week, I think it was down to an ulcer though and I don't take that tablet x

Ive only been on it a week so it maybe just tension and the more I think about it the worst it is thanks

Do you find you clench your teeth together

Sometimes we get so used to doing it we dont notice & this can give you terrible jaw ache

When you feel the ache , try & notice if you happen to be tensing your jaw at the time , this could be a reason your jaw is aching

I have never had any problems with sertraline and I have been on it for seeral years, it may be as above says and you do not realise you are doing it.

Jaw ache? Yes don't why this happens but it appears a whole lot of people seem to get it. Usually take painkillers for it helps a bit.

Yes why why I just realised it's me clenching my jaw that's making it like this its not actually an ache just tension. The more I dwell on it the more I do it

I thought thats what it sounded like you could be doing , I have had this problem for years & until I feel the pain & aching dont even no I am doing it & when I do like you say , start thinking about it , I can start doing it more

I try & relax my jaw , but that takes concentration when I do

It does get better though & at least you no its not the meds or anything wrong as unpleasant as it is , I hope it eases soon

Hi I have been on sertroline for a few years now. I haven't had jaw aching specifically but I do get some muscle twitching. This might also include jaw aching in some people.
