Worst dizzy spell yet...

O god...

I've had a pretty bad day, my little dog isn't very well :( but his home now which is good :)

The worse thing just happend to me, I've felt pretty well all day but I've been cooking dinner and stuff and I just tilted my head to the side slightly to look in my handbag and boom!! , my eyes went blurry and I literally stumbled to the side, nearly fell into the radiator and I ran to sit on the sofa... It was the worst dizzy spell I've had... I really don't think it's anxiety, it was so bad and literally no warning signs or anything and just hit me completely out the blue....

My mums now worried me saying maybe I'm having fainting spells, I don't think I am as I'm not fainting... It's literally this awful spinning, feels like my brains moving around really fast :( really scared me :(

Has anyone else had this?? My heads gone all funny now :( it feels all tinglingly :(

X

I've had this I put it on a different post on here the docs said I had vertigo but when I went to the hospital it was psv I think it's called its caused by the crystals we all have in our ears they settle at the bottom of your ear canal and make you go off balance I do exercises to stop this I also fell because of this Google it if that helps

Hi fedup

I have been stood cooking or doing other things & this has come on all of a sudden & I have had to hold on to the nearest thing , trying to stay calm till it passes enough that I can get to a chair & sit down , I no it is so frightening , but I have had these spells quite a few times over the years & as there is no other explanation can only accept its anxiety

Hope you are feeling a bit better now , try & relax tonight & not to let it play on your mind , even though I no its not easy , but I would imagine its this anxiety & there is your hormones this week as well

Love

The thing is I've had tests for positional vertigo and they said it was negative... The thing is I only get it randomly when I tilt my head... So I can recreate that same head movement and nothing happens :(

Blugh I feel awful :( I just keep telling myself if I went to hospital I've had all the tests they could do! X

hello fedup the same thing happened to me once in the kitchen when i was wiping the cutlery and thought i was about to fall in the draw, then another time i was in a shop and i turned back to look again at something then again it happened when i was in work sat at my desk but turned to one side to get something out of the filing cabinet so looking at the pattern it must have something to do with turning too quick. I know its frightening cos it scares me to death and leaves my head tight & tingling. I too have had so many test that prove everything is ok so i really don't know why this happens. we'r obviously not alone with this so relax, breath deeply and do something to occupy your mind. I like to go fora bubble bath X

Hi hunnybug, thank you, that's nice to hear someone else has something similar... It is the worse feeling!! It like feels like I'm about to die!!

I am worried that this dizzy spell is actually a seizure.... :(
