Hi Dave
Sorry you are not feeling good at the moment
The heaving is a typical symptom of anxiety & the more we fear the feeling the more we tend to feel we want to be sick & heave
If when you get this feeling you can try & accept its your anxiety , & try not to heave , maybe try sipping some water or sucking a mint till it passes could help
The tingling is your nerves as well , I once had it explained to me to imagine all the nerves that run through your body as spaghetti & they get all knotted up & the more they do they get tighter giving tingling sensations & until we relax & they start to untangle we get theses sensations , it made sense to me , it was the best explanation someone had ever given me & helped me to stop fearing & again the less I feared them , the less I had them
The meds will take a while to work , it can be a few weeks & while we are waiting it feels awful , but they will work soon & you will start to feel better
Keep coming on here & talking , we might not always have the answers , but you no you are not alone & we understand & are listening
Love

Hi Dave,
I went through a heaving/sick period with my anxiety over Christmas.. I was convinced I had a Brain Tumour and I kept gagging and all sorts when I was really worrying.. It was awful... As soon as I had a clear MRI it all stopped so unfortunately I think its a nasty side of the anxiety.. I also have the tingling.. I was getting a sensation of ants all over my scalp and a numb face pretty much every day.. since I've had another clear mri and I stopped fearing and accepted these... they have disappeared!
I suffer with awful panic attacks, I even had one this morning... I managed to get myself outside and just kept counting backwards from 10 and taken some slow deep breathes, I was actually surprised at how quickly the anxiety subsided...
Its a rubbish thing anxiety and I am sorry I can't help you on the med front, I don't take any... I hope the above helps to tell you that it is more than likely the anxiety causing all of this... x
Thank u whywhy , will try what u said , these attacks leave me shattered and emotional .

Hi Dave
Just wanted to say that I get very similar symptoms; especially the nausea and heaving. Sometimes I am actually sick but usually nothing there. I have been prescribed the same meds as you.....but you are one step ahead of me Dave as I have not been brave enough to actually take them yet!! Have picked up prescription though!
Anyway you're never alone in this. Would be interested to know how you get on with meds after little while.
Stay strong xx
