Feeling run down - Can't relax

I've had a cold for over 2 weeks, it's really hit me for six. I am also suffering from face pain and ear ache (ear ache might be from sore jaw but it's not nice at all) Last night I couldn't sleep, my mind was racing. Is anyone suffering from a cold they can't shake off?

Hello

Yep I've not been 100% for a couple of weeks either...besides the sick saga going on around here Ive had something lurking in my chest and I got a cold sore which is now a stubborn bloody scab which loves to split...you have my sympathy...it's horrible :(

ive got a cold sore too i havent been right for that last month it all really started to go down hill when i found my self having marathon sleeps in the afternoon and very very low energy i thought it was chronic fatigue actually to be honest i dont know what it is just part of the crap deal with anxiety and stress disorder i cant afford any cream for the cold sore so will let in run its course

Hi

Hope you got a good nights sleep

It is that time of year already where colds & things are going about & I have heard of so many catching them already

Touch wood , we are avoiding them at the moment , but I no eventually no doubt we will get are turn as every Winter you are lucky if you dont

I remember last Winter so many on this site catching colds that made them feel so bad & were finding it hard to shake of & I think when we suffer with anxiety a lot of us find it hard to relax & go to bed , keep warm , drink plenty of fluids & rest till it passes , which I have friends that do this & they seem to shake it of a lot quicker than I do

Try if you can & be kind to yourself & rest till it passes

If you feel your ears are infected you may need to see the GP , but if its the cold taking some moving , I no it gets us down , but it will pass when its took its course & I dont think its unusual when they seem to linger for weeks

Hope you feel better soon

Love

I also think the reason I didn't sleep was due to a itchy little toe and well mind racing. I woke up at 2am and removed a hard bit of skin off my toe, the relief was lovely lol

i had the earache and saw jaw feeling and i get that when i am run down and its actually nerves creating the pain and i woke up this morning with a headache i noticed last night that when im exhausted and trying to concentrate that the pain goes all down the side of my face and my ear the doctor says its a really big word that starts with t sorry thats probably not that helpful the only thing that helps relieve it is to go into a dark room and have peace and stillness sux aye?
