Wow had my 2nd shift at the New Theatre last night and it was the show Thriller Live, so camp it's brilliant! Now I had a door all to myself so I was busy taken tickets and showing the lovely people of Cardiff to their seats, well some were so drunk they couldn't walk and so rude I could have slapped them hard! The show is brilliant, every song a hit and yes I did sing along now and then lol. The woman who should have helped me wasn't happy with me at all. She told the boss I was just using this job as a dance hall (I wasn't dancing and how can I use a dance hall?) and she also claimed I was letting people take photos.
I could see no one taking photos on my side of the theatre but she came over to me near the end, when I was watching the crowd, and demanded I stopped being a fan and do some work! The people taking photos were the ones who bought flashing white gloves! She had her hands full from the very drunk lady being sick and a group of women who were so drunk they talked loudly and wouldn't listen when we asked them to stop. Also before the show a woman locked herself in the disabled toilets and she wasn't going to the show, my fault again but I was busy then helping the woman with selling Thriller goodies.
Then I got attacked by a zombie! Well after being told off by a woman older then my Mum, I was down near the front of the stage looking at the crowd and well turned around to see two zombies standing behind me. I jumped and one pretend to bite my arm haha. All in all worth going to see as it's a great camp show.
I was happy when it was over. The bosses told me what the woman I was working with said, I got upset. I was stressed out and said she could have helped me more taking tickets. It was full on. Louise, the woman selling Thriller goodies give me a hug and said she told the bosses I did a great job helping her out before the show and felt I was left all alone on a busy night.
I am not back in till sometime next week or the week after. I am glad I did a busy fast night work but help would have been nice. I am calmer now
