Yes I get it , I have even been known to heave as well with it
It is anxiety & I no its not very nice
I can sound like a broken record but when you get this feeling , if you can accept what it is & what is happening it does pass
Hi whywhy!u r a legend on here!ur very helpful and give good advice, yea I only get it every so often that feeling in my throat it is rare but when we get it it's horrible isint it.how are u today?xxx
Oh Porgie , I wish I was a legend & then a certain Mr Will-i-am might want to meet me
Have a dreadful migraine to be honest , which is sending my anxiety into slight over drive
I no its really not nice , I have heaved over the sink before today with this feeling I am about to be sick , its such a real sensation , but as I now have learnt to accept its an anxiety symptom , I can control it better when it comes on & its rare I go to that extreme anymore or get it
xxx
Hi,
Yeah I use to get it a lot,but as whywhy says once you learn to accept what it is and that it will pass it will pass And yes she is a legend:)) xx
Oh I'm so happy to hear this from someone else. My daughter complains of this often & it causes huge upset as she has a phobia of vomiting. It's a vicious circle. I try to tell her it's her anxiety but I'm not sure she's convinced. At least now I can tell her I know for certain others get the same feeling.
Sorry, not much help for you but at least you know you're not alone.
I also have emetophobia. And this nauseous feeling comes and goes and will stick around for like a week and then be gone for months. I don't know what triggers it for me but it really makes my daily life difficult. It is a vicious circle like you said. I'm glad to know someone who has the same phobia as me is going through the same issues.
It is good to hear I'm not the only one, not only with this feeling but the fear of vomiting too. It tends to make it worse because not only is there some anxiety there in the first place but then the worry of possibly being sick makes it all 10 times worse! I'm a new member to this site and is great to hear other people's tips and ideas. Thank you xx
Hiya, that's ok at least I no other peps suffer from that too, thought it was linked to anxiety but just wanted to check.feel better now just annoying hope ur daughter ok xx
I get this too, yesterday morning I had nausea feeling, really like I'm going to be sick, anxiety because I had to go to see my counsellor. Not nice. I've had it alot and I mean alot, bloody anxiety drives me mad
Im worried i have GIRD, but I DONT eat a lot im not obese....and it onky started after a panicky few days. I mean, down right panicky. It was awful. I have agoraphobia and felt awful today. I get this burning or hot sensation at the base of my throat but its not at night. And its not bad when i lay down.
I feel like youd feel after a cold, when you have all that phlegm and i havent.gotten sick, but this feeling freaks me out!
Ive slept very little, exercised a lot, meanwhile freaking oit everyday and crying every night.
Is this a symptom of anxiety? It started after.i kept focusing on my throat. And yeah, i did feel nauseous, but i think that was due to anxiety and my constant constant.worry.
I dunno If it’s anxiety or not but I just come back from Thailand I’ve had thai tummy also feeling very sick like o want to throw up but nothing is coming up ?
