Dreadful morning

Woke with the same feeling, went and had an hour and a half of meditation, kept drifting off and waking with palpitations, took the boys for a walk then headed to the coffee shop, hope everyone's day is better than mine xxx

Hi Thomson, feeling a lot calmer now thanks xxx

hi there London Man,

It's a right pain this anxiety, when all you want is a break from it, today I had lot's of plans, too many to be honest, thinking keep busy don't think etc, anyway I slowed down mid-morning as I was making myself worse, trying to hard if you know what I mean.

But the afternoon was a lot better, and I watched an afternoon movie on the TV.

am glad you are feeling better now. Here's to us both having an ok evening.

Thanks Gardener...i'm looking forward to bed later, just took the boys over the park and had a bath when I got back. I'm very tired, i have lost nearly a stone and a half now over about 5 to 6 weeks, my appetite isnt great but I am eating healthier so it's no wonder i'm losing the weight.

Have been looking through the net for new techniques to try, i need to start doing some real physical exercise to raise my happy levels, reprogramming the brain to be happy is the trick.

Hope you have a good evening

LM have you tried swimming , are you near a pool , where maybe you could go earlier in the day, or a bike ride, I have been fishing today, as I used to do this and did enjoy it before anxiety, I also did swim 4 times a week early in the mornings. However not been swim for along time now, but am thinking about it early in morning one day, Just an idea, as you have said its bad in the mornings as it seems to be for all of us. I felt bad when I got up with anxiety, but it seemed that as I decided to go out straight after a drink, the worst of the morning anxiety subsided . had blips during the day, but got by them.
