I woke up with a racing heart and can't get it to slow down. I can't take the beta blockers due to low bp. I'm so frustrated. It's Mother's Day weekend and I want to enjoy it with my kids.
Bad Morning: I woke up with a racing heart... - Anxiety Support
Bad Morning
Try to take a deep breath and just calm down okay and don't let his ruin your weekend, think positive
I am now crying because I want so bad to be myself again. I just want my life back. I truly can not believe that my heart racing at 7am as soon as I open my eyes is anxiety related and I can't get answers...
Ahh hun can you get some magnesium from somewhere? It's worth a try that's what I do when I wake up with a fast heart a pop one and within 40 mins or so it slows down
Beth, do you have any antianxiety medicine on hand?
Beth, feeling any better? What are you taking in place of Lexapro now? Anything at all? I am hoping that the morning anxiety (which is the worse for me) will get better as the day goes by now that you are off Lexapro. I do hope you will enjoy your Mother's Day with your children. x
Hi, thanks for checking on me. I'm not taking anything in place of the lexapro. I have Ativan for panic attacks (as needed) I have an appointment on Tuesday to see a psychiatrist. This will be my first appointment with a specialist. I'm excited about it. I'm hoping for help that my pcp hasn't or can't offer.
I have cried all day. I just want my heart to be normal and allow me to have a good life. I'm very emotional today.
Beth, it's okay to put aside a day for crying and being emotional. It does help release the stress. There are other medicines out there to help control the fast heart rate besides being a beta blocker. Won't that be nice? x
