Of my heart being a *enter worst sweary word here*

I'm losing the will... :-(

I'm trying to carry on with my normal every day life but I'm struggling....another moany post...maybe one day I'll be full of joy and want to sing a little song or have a little dance :)

Hello, it's fine to get it out of your system by talking about it. I was moany yesterday I told the counsellor person that I am fed of fighting with my brain, my irrational side verses my rational side. It's such hard work trying to act like nothing is wrong and go about doing your usual things when all you want to do is curl up in a ball and hope everything goes away. The counsellor asked what do I want to happen I said I wanted to be left alone. So I understand totally what you mean.

Try to do some relaxation before bed xxxx

It funny I had CBT last night and my lady said I looked happier than she had ever seen me. Maybe it's cos I feel relaxed when I'm with her and get some respite from my crappy symptoms.

Roll up in a ball sounds good to me actually lol. I'm just going to get a nice deep bath and do some deep breathing :-)

O dear me :( I feel your heart is becoming part of me ;)

Now there was a a little poem nearly coming on , but my head hurts , so its all I can manage ;)

I really do believe this is your anxiety , I cant wait for you to have that monitor on as I no it will all come back fine & then i hope you will have peace of mind , I used to have the same fear so I do no how you feel

I no I sound like a broken record , but seriously , something would have happened by now if anything was wrong & you would not be able to possibly do what you do if you had heart problems

I hope once they give you the all clear though you will still come on here :o

I shall remember you promised us that song now & I shall put my request in early for

Talk about a broken record I'm starting to feel like one lol.

I do no you are 100% right and that if anything was wrong I'd know all about it.

Yes even if I'm given the all clear ill still be here, maybe I'll even throw a will-I-am song into the mix hahaha

Hi Ashley sorry to hear your struggling. I agree with whywhy though if I was something other than your anxiety something would of happened now. You wouldn't be able to go jogging or do got yoga. Just keep telling yourself it's the anxiety until you get your monitor sorted.

Ashley I am assuming you mean the palpitations , I have had these all day today again, and all the rest anxiety symptoms, to extent of making me feel very ill where I have stresses so much with it, at the bottom is a bit from Dr Weeks Book about palpitations.

A healthy heart can tolerate a rate of over two hundred beats per minute, for days even weeks without causing any damage. So let your heart race until it chooses to calm down. Remembering that it is a good heart beating quickly because of nervous stimulation and such stimulation will not harm it. less fear means less adrenalin and consequently less excitation so the attacks come less frequently. Accept them without recoiling from them. remember that while your heart palpitates nature is working to calm its racing.

I'm sorry you have palps as well...they are the Bain of my life, everything else I can deal with that, then I cannot lol
