Hi all.

Hello
Yes I can relate to this but my anxiety is always late at night.I get the symptoms you describe plus chest pains...pins and needles......and cold sweats. I have never found a cure so I just sit it out.Sometimes it lasts for hours and scares the life out of me.If you do find an answer please let me know.
Thanks Grog.
This is such a terrible illness. I would do almost anything to rid it forever.
Hi yes I get it in my left shoulder blade... Anxiety comes in many forms. I think it's tension and relaxation usually sorts it out. Try to do some gentle stretches and see if it helps take care love eve x
thank you Eve. I will do that and see how I get on x
Hi helpme
Never heard anyone else describe this but you're spot on - in my case leg but not arm. It mainly happens when lying in bed and can keep me awake for literally hours. I have an urge to 'jump' my leg which helps but only for a minute or two.
I was recently diagnosed with arthritis as well as depression and am now on strong pain killers and anti-inflammatories. Don't know whether they make the difference or why but I've not had the fizzing / ache problem for a while now.
Word of caution. Don't take chances with medication - talk to your doctor. If he / she doesn't really listen find another one. Most GPs are life-savers.
Good luck and take care.
J
Thank you J.
Really please that someone can relate to how I feel. It is a weird sensation. I will see what I can do now other people have the same symptoms.
Hi,
I sometimes get an extreme pins and needles like feeling in my face and hands in the middle of an intense anxiety episode. Anyone else get this?

Hi yes when I was really ill and my anxiety levels were through the roof I had it down the side of my face, it felt like my skin was crawling.... It's horrible x
I get the fizzing/pins and needles in the hands. feet and face. Apparently it's caused by too little CO2 in the blood from hyperventilating so the breathing into a bag trick or breathing exercises may help?
