Medication increase

I've been on 60mg of Duloxetine since end of December. It's just been increased to 90mg last week. I've written about my journey on here a few times. I thought 60mg was helping for a few weeks in February but slowly the anxious feelings have crept back. Has anyone found going up to 90mg has made a difference ? I'm really hoping it helps. Been on different meds over the years but not sure where i can go from here if this doesn't work. Any advice would be appreciated.

Neustift, don't even put that in your mind "if this doesn't work".

Sometimes all we need is that increase in dose to notice the difference

and start feeling better. I wish you well :) xx

I understand Neustift. I've been there myself. That dosage increase

did it for me as well as the time of day my medication is taken.

My best wishes to you. Let us know if you need anything. :) xx

Oh Neustift, I am not on your medication but understand how an

increase or switch to another medication cause some concern.

Your doctor knows what is best for you. Trust in your doctor.

and listen to his advice as he knows your case history.

I hope you do well on the increase. Let us know :) xx

Hey, sooner or later you will have to work on quitting the meds and find ways to cop up with this. I am suffering from these intrusive thoughts and anxiety from a long time now and working on different ways to cop up with this.

Explore Deep Breathing, Mindfulness meditation and start working on acceptance rather then resilience. Do not expect the outcomes in a day or a month. it takes time but believe that everything will be okay. Try to learn anxiety differently. its a game of perception.

You have mistakenly trained your subconscious this way and its quite possible to train otherwise.

Take professional help when you plan to quit on your meds.

Love :)

We increased to 90mg at the same time. So far I am doing okay with the increase. I am hoping it fully kicks in sooner than later. I am mainly tired and have brain fog. My anxiety has decreased already so I am hopeful. I had surgery a few weeks back and I think the anesthesia must have affected me. My NP increased my dose while I am recovering. I am hoping I can decrease it 6 months down the road when I am completely healed. If not, I am okay with that.

Hang in there and be gentle with yourself.
