I have myself worked up

I have myself all worked up feeling like I’m going to wake up tomorrow with a kidney infection or something because I drank a few cokes today and I know that I’m probably not but my back is hurting a little bit right now so I have myself convinced I’m going to wake up in severe pain tomorrow. I don’t know why I always think the worst. It could be anything. I did lift heavy stuff yesterday. It’s almost my time of the month. I was bending down and picking stuff up a lot today. I lifted heavy stuff in the grocery store today. It could literally be any one of these things but my brain has me genuinely convinced that tomorrow I’m going to wake up with a UTI or kidney infection tomorrow because I had two dr peppers and a coke. I also drank two bottles of water and two body armors but I always focus on the bad. Does anyone else struggle with this?

Yes I struggle with health anxiety too. It's scary thinking that everything is going to be the death of you. Just breathe and think positive

Hi Blue. Yes, I struggle with making mistakes or bad choices. Then I beat myself up until I realize what I'm doing. I'm thinking that those things make me imperfect. Like perfection is the only acceptable way to be. Of course, it isn't. We learn by making mistakes. We grow by forgiving ourself and others. Buddha said something that helps me a lot. "Accept what is, let go of what was, trust in what's to come." Hope you feel better soon. 🥰
